Questions

Good to know

Anything else, just ask Brenden directly.

Do you charge for site visits?

Yes. Going out to measure up and look at a job is charged. To save you the cost, send some photos and a description first and Brenden can often give you a rough idea of price before a visit.

Do you take on small jobs?

Yes. A handful of small repairs can often be done in a single visit. Put them all on one list and he'll work through them.

Does my new deck need a building consent?

In New Zealand, a deck where you could fall 1.5 metres or less is usually exempt from building consent. Higher decks generally need one. Brenden will tell you which applies to your plans and help you through the process if a consent is needed.

Will waterblasting damage my house?

Not when it's done right. Painted weatherboards, render and some claddings get a softer low-pressure wash with a suitable cleaner. Concrete and hard surfaces can take more pressure.

What happens if it rains?

Exterior painting and oiling need dry conditions. If the forecast turns, Brenden lets you know early and moves the job to the next suitable day.

Do you work on rental properties?

Yes. Landlords and property managers use Brenden for tenancy turnarounds, healthy-homes fixes and routine upkeep between tenants.
